Add Assembly Lines to any Business Central report

With the release of ForNAV 7.0, it is now possible to add Assembly Lines (Bill of Material or BOM) to several standard ForNAV reports.

Note: Adding temporary Data Items in this way only works when you create a custom report layout. If you create a new report, you must write the AL code to insert the data in the temporary table manually.

Adding item tracking lines works for the following tables:

        Sales Line

        Sales Invoice Line

        Sales Shipment Line

To add Assembly Lines to a ForNAV report, you must edit the report and add the Assembly Line Data Item to the Line Data Item. Set the Temporary property of the Assembly Line Data Item to True.

After you have added the Assembly Line Data Item, you can add sections with the required data:
